Ad space is available in the web version your directory. You can sell banner ads to generate revenue, or use the space to promote events.
- Each ad banner is 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels tall. The size is fixed and cannot be changed.
- The ads are promoted, placed and priced entirely by Directory Administrators.
- Ads are visible on computers and larger devices, but not on small devices due to space constraints.
Each tab in the directory allows for one ad. You can sell up to four different ads. The ads can be all the same ad, four different ads, or any combination.
1. Within the Admin tab, go to Edit Organization Information
2. Locate the Advertisements section and choose the page to place an ad.
- Tab One Page Advertisement (Member tab)
- Tab Two Page Advertisement (Family tab)
- Groups Tab Advertisement
- Staff Page Advertisement
3. Click Choose File and select the ad image from your computer.
4. You may enter the name of the ad in the “Short description of file” field, or you may leave this blank.
5. If you’d like to link the add to your sponsor’s website, copy the URL in the field labeled “URL the Ad links to.” When members click the ad, a new window will open on their browser and they will be directed to the sponsor’s website.
6. Scroll down and click the Update button.
To remove the banner image and clear all ad fields, select the Delete Ad button.
Export Ad Reports is an optional feature that allows you to share data with your sponsor about how many times the ad was viewed and how many times someone clicked the ad to visit the sponsor’s website. To run this report, choose the report month and click Export Ad Results.
