ADMIN: Mobile Notifications

What are Mobile Notifications? They are messages, sent by your organization, that appear on devices with the Online Member Directory app.

Who receives Notifications? Members of groups, or All Members, if your settings allow.   Members can choose to receive notifications on all, some or none of their mobile devices

Who sends Notifications?  Directory administrators can send notifications. Contact us if you want to allow all members to send notifications to groups. Only Admin can send notifications to All Members.

How do I send a notification?
Go to the Admin tab of the web version of your directory, scroll down and select Messaging. Check the box for All Members.  Select the magnifying glass to see who will receive your message (A green checkmark will appear if they have downloaded and logged in to the app). Compose and send your message.

Can I send a notification to just one person?  Notifications are for groups, not for individuals.  You can contact individuals by text message. Phone numbers in the mobile phone field show the option to call or text.

How do members receive notifications? In the Online Member Directory app, click the Notifications icon in the bottom navigation bar. A red dot indicates you have a new notification. Members can update their device settings to allow alerts on their phone or tablet. To watch a video, CLICK HERE

How much do mobile notifications cost?  There is no cost for members to receive notifications, and your directory’s subscription cost will not increase.  So, they’re free!

Can I reply to a notification?  No
